FLOKI INU AIRDROP SUCCESS: FURTHER DETAILS
The brave FLOKI VIKINGS have conquered the most challenging trials since they set sail. The $FLOKI V2 airdrop was one such challenge which tested the nerves of the Vikings. The Vikings courage paid off, and the airdrop was completed successfully today.

The Floki Inu team required an airdrop to transfer the value of the Floki Inu community’s V1 tokens over to the new contract. The deadline for sending was 1am UTC on Tuesday July 6th. Below is the breakdown of how many $FLOKI v2 tokens community members received determined according to when they sent their initial tokens:
- All wallets before and up to 12 hours before deadline, receive 100% transferred tokens
- 12-9 hours before deadline, receive 90% transferred tokens
- 9- 6 hours before deadline, receive 80% transferred tokens
- 6-1 hour before deadline, receive 70% transferred tokens
- 1 hour to 30 minutes before deadline, receive 60% tokens
- 30-10 mins before deadline, 60% of tokens
- 10 minutes before deadline, to deadline 50% of tokens
To be fair to everyone, we also gave a 5% token airdrop to those who sent after the deadline.
The reason for a reduced number of tokens is due to the accelerating inflation in the V1 contract during the final hours before the deadline, leading to a tenfold increase in token supply distributed among holders. It was necessary to reduce the number of tokens to all holders to keep the supply at a sensible level and retain the token value.
The reduced number of tokens airdropped to holders was also determined by two taxes imposed on us. The first tax was the 20% tax on all transactions that the rogue developer put in the V1 contract, which users will have incurred when sending their V1 tokens. The second tax was a 10% tax required to send the airdrop to all users through BulkSender, to pay for use of the application.
Floki Inu is a community-centred project and we want to do everything we can to make sure the community is fairly treated. The team have worked hard to ensure a V2 token airdrop which is both fair to previous holders and which keeps token supply at a desirable level. However, if individual community members still haven’t received the correct amount of tokens according to the airdrop breakdown and taxes, we want to hear from you. Fundamentally, we all had to take a reduction in tokens to keep this project — Floki’s ship — afloat. By showing support for the project in this way, the airdrop has fundamentally been a success. We would like to commend the bravery of the FLOKI Army for staying strong through this progress. We would like to give special honour to our developer @themoontography — a famed warrior developer whose skills and hardiness led to a successful airdrop.
Once again, The FLOKI INU community has proven itself to be the strongest among the dogcoins. We have conquered every trial so far, and there is nothing that can stop us.
